The Peckville Christmas House

This is a must see display for anyone in NEPA. Located at 1130 Marion Street in Peckville Pennsylvania this display features over 1000 blow mold Christmas decorations and a walking path for visitors to explore. It’s completely free but with an electric bill of over $2000 for the season be sure to leave a small donation in the donation box.

The Christmas Lights House on Prospect Ave in Scranton

Located in Scranton’s South Side at 300 Prospect Ave, the Christmas Lights House is practically a whole neighborhood turned into a winter wonderland. See the beautiful lights and window displays put on by the Smurl family and neighbors.

The Holiday House on Moosic Street

A Scranton icon for over 30 years, the Holiday House on Moosic Street in Scranton allows you to drive through the adjacent alley and view the decorations and live manger scene. You may even see Santa walking around!

The Electric City Building and Courthouse Square

The Scranton Electric building is all lit up for the holiday with all the colors of the rainbow that constantly change. It’s highlighted by the iconic ‘Scranton, The Electric City’, The Lackawanna Courthouse is also decorated with bright lights for the season. Take a stroll around downtown Scranton to get you in the spirit.

The Times Tower

You can’t miss it! The Times Tower is lit up like a Christmas Tree every year and towers over Scranton. The Times Tower has been illuminated for nearly 60 years.

If you grew up in NEPA in the 80s or before you no doubt remember Christmas time at the Globe Store. If you want to bring back some memories take a drive by the old Globe Store building and see it all lit up for Christmas.
